Since a storm has the sump pump kicking on and off and it's keeping me awake I might as well do the next post!
Part 10!
Still on Saturday at the 2011 KKOA Leadsled Spectacular in Salina, KS...
I never did shoot enough of this car this weekend. I've seen the beautiful Merc a couple of times this year and just flat out neglected getting good shots this time, my apologies!
I just love Yaril's shoebox and I keep taking photos of it!
McPhail's Fairlane was in attendance, looking killer as always.
By Saturday afternoon they'd made a lot of progress on the chop
I believe that this was the car chopped at the 2009 event
Here's a couple of shots of McPhail's 58 Apache. It's looking good guys!
Voodoo Jim left the coupe at a home and brought the big car
Jeff (finkd) brought one of the world's most beautiful Caddy's
Alex Gambino brought out the F.U. 54, it was a long strange trip from Cali & back but it's good to know he got back home safely.
John Wells (coolstuff) working hard in his booth....dammit I meant to pick up a copy of that mag before the weekend ended.
Don's BEAUTIFUL kustom
One of my favorite's from the LSRU trip shows up in Salina!....and this is the only shot of it I get... (see a pattern here? Too much talking in the shade not enough walking around getting shots for all of you!)
This car looked pretty much perfect to me, and trust me I kept looking again and again.
Finally.... the H.A.M.B. Meet & Greet shot! I'm sorry that I made you folks sit in the sun for this! I'm going to lighten up the shadows on those of you who didn't get squeezed into the sunlight, just didn't want to make anyone sit there any longer than absolutely necessary.
That's it for part 10, the storm has passed now and my alarm clock has started going off... so much for being awake at my desk today! I'll try to do another post over lunch hour!
Travis
